Blocked Websites

Any specific blocked websites that teachers or students may need access to for their learning will need to be raised with Simon for approval and unblocking. Please submit request through ticket system. (27-03-2017)

 

 AirServer

Some SmartBoards are in the process of being fixed, if your room needs airserver repaired, please raise a support ticket. (27-03-2017)

 

Mcafee Gateway Certificate

BYOD devices and iPads may experience no internet connectivity even though they are connected to the schools wifi. To rectify this issue on iPads follow the steps below (or refer to ICT staff). Laptops will need to be fixed by taking the computer to ICT staff in the Hub or IT office. (27-02-2017)

  1. Open safari
  2. Type http://byod in the address bar (must be at school to access this page)
  3. Tap the blue link that appears
  4. In the new window that appears click install certificate.

 

  ClickView

  Maintenance and IT Job Logging

New ticket system installed, visit staff resources to log a job (located on the right hand side of the page under Support).  (27-03-2017)

 

 Print Release Station
Available to: Staff and Students

Print release stations in the Learning Hub and Lower Penny now operating as they were in 2016. (28-02-2017)

 

Daymap
Accessible from: Home and School
Available to: Staff and Students

Daymap has now been moved to a new URL (accessible through the intranet). Operating as expected. (28-02-2017)

 

Internet

Internet Issues have now been resolved.Operating as expected. (27-02-2017)

 

iPad and BYOD internet

All BYOD devices should now be working on the network, any issues, please see mcafee Gateway Certificate or ask student to visit ICT services. (27-02-2017)

Operating as expected. Any issues experienced in your classrooms (or student devices) are most likely related to a “certificate error”. To load the new certificate please read the heading on this page called “Mcafee Certificate” or seek advice from ICT staff. (27-02-2017)
